About Us
Striar Hebrew Academy of Sharon (SHAS), a coeducational, Modern Orthodox day school in South-area Boston, serving students toddler-age through Grade 6. Striar Hebrew Academy is a unified Jewish day school on two campuses: the Yaakov Spellman Early Learning Center at 60 Ashcroft Road houses our early childhood program, for Toddlers through Kindergarten. The elementary grades 1 through 6 are located at 100 Ames Street. From the youngest to the oldest students, we teach a dual Judaic and general studies curriculum, infused with Torah values, which stresses the importance of showing respect for each other and embracing individual differences.
