Since 1982, ImprovBoston has entertained audiences in New England and around the country with an innovative, fresh approach to improvisational theater, showcasing the best performers working today and training the future stars of tomorrow. We have produced thousands of shows, provided a home for hundreds of performers, and trained countless students in the art of improvisation. With a critically acclaimed mainstage show, groundbreaking showcase productions, and a nationally known education program, ImprovBoston continues to be more than just a great comedy club: It's a recognized center for the development, performance and promotion of the evolving art of improvisation.

Now located in a brand new space in Central Square, Cambridge, ImprovBoston is entertaining more and more New Englanders. With live comedy shows 5 nights a week; classes in improv, sketch writing, and stand-up; and two performances spaces in the new facility, ImprovBoston is the place for comedy in Cambridge, Boston, and beyond.
