  • Mission

Girls on the Run of the Greater Chesapeake inspires girls in 3rd - 8th grades to be joyful, healthy and confident using a research-based, youth development curriculum. We serve girls in Anne Arundel County, Baltimore City, Baltimore County, Calvert County, Queen Anne's County, Talbot County.

    About Us

The Girls on the Run lessons encourage positive emotional, social, mental and physical development. Girls on the Run inspires girls to recognize their inner strength and celebrate what makes them one of a kind. Trained coaches lead small groups of girls through the research-based curricula which teaches girls social, emotional and physical well-being. Over the course of the ten-week program, offered in both fall and spring, girls develop essential life skills to help them navigate their worlds and establish a lifetime appreciation for health and fitness. The program culminates with girls positively impacting their communities through a service project and being physically and emotionally prepared to complete a celebratory 5K event where the finish line is just the beginning.
