The Community Synagogue

The Community Synagogue is a Reform Jewish congregation seeking to enrich our members' lives by weaving core Jewish values into who we are and what we do. We are open to all who seek to infuse Torah and Jewish values and teachings into their lives. We are committed to the three pillars of Jewish life: the study of Torah, spiritual expression and worship, and acts of loving kindness. We motivate a lifelong commitment to learning, living and loving Judaism. We establish a strong Jewish identity among our members, creating a partnership between the institutions of Jewish life (home, synagogue and school). We value the essential principles of Reform Judaism, and seek to perpetuate Jewish values through our youth. We are committed to the unity of the Jewish people and affirm that the Land of Israel is central to our identity as Jews. We pursue justice in our community, nation and world. We seek to become a community of learners and leaders committed to turning this vision into a reality.
