Be a part of something special! Join the Harris County Department of Education (HCDE) Cooperative for After-School Enrichment (CASE) Americorps team. This is an opportunity to participate in a national service project for the youth of Harris County.Since 1994, more than 500,000 men and women have served in AmeriCorps, providing needed assistance to millions of Americans to meet critical needs in education, public safety, health, homeland security and the environment. CASE Americorps members will work in after-school programs to provide direct service to Harris County youth. Members will also establish community partnerships, acquire project resources, receive and administer training in the appropriate Kids’ Day and other model projects curricula.
