    The American Cancer Society is the nationwide, community-based voluntary health organization dedicated to eliminating cancer as a major health problem by preventing cancer, saving lives, and diminishing suffering from cancer, through research, education, advocacy, and service.

    About Us

    The American Cancer Society is seeking volunteers to help with general office/event support including: answering phones, helping with bulk mailings, putting together event packets, organizing event materials, and other duties as assigned.

    The American Cancer Society is also seeking volunteers to help with various programs including: Road to Recovery, Support For Recovery, and volunteers to staff Cancer Resource Centers.

    Additionally, volunteers are needed for Relay For Life fundraising activities. Volunteer needs include: Team Captains, Relay For Life planning committee members, and day of event volunteers.
