Dogs Trust USA (DTUSA) is dedicated to improving the lives of dogs across the United States - and around the world. In the USA, 3.3 million dogs are abandoned or lost and find themselves in shelters and an astonishing 670,000 dogs are euthanized every year for want of a home. An affiliate of Dogs Trust—the leading dog welfare organization in the UK—Dogs Trust USA was founded in 2017 to transform the dog welfare landscape across the US leveraging 130 years of expertise to augment existing efforts and bridge the gaps in a fragmented system.
