    About Us

    Heart and Hand Society, Inc., founded in 1980, started in order to rescue and rehabilitate the many stray and abandoned companion animals. In addition to maintaining a shelter for feral cats, we are working to educate the public in responsible pet ownership, promotion of spaying and neutering, and elimination of pet overpopulation and abandonment, and elimination of euthanasia of healthy animals. We do not accept animals for adoption from the public, but we assist owners in resolving problems owners have in keeping pets, and offer help in locating new owners for their pets if the problems cannot be resolved.
