About Us
Arts for Life uses storytelling, writing, movement, music, dance, and visual arts to support resilience, restoration, and renewal in the lives of people and communities.
Our programs are designed to: ~ Facilitate safe emotional relief through creative self-expression; ~ Reframe crisis and conflicts into opportunities for discovery and development; ~ Build upon the inherent strengths of cultural heritage; ~ Channel the energies of violence in all its forms into life-affirming creations, attitudes, and actions; ~ Promote compassionate community across borders and belief systems.
Our services include: ~ Workshops, private sessions, and ongoing groups to support recovery from trauma, physical and emotional illness, and other life crisis; ~ Creative conflict resolution and team building programs; ~ In-service trainings for mental health and education professionals; ~ Talk and presentations on creativity and healing.
