About Us
Delaware County Historical Society collects, protects, and preserves the history and culture of Delaware County, PA, making it accessible to all residents through providing strong educational outreach. Since 1895, DCHS has been gathering and sharing the stories of county and its people. Located in historic downtown Chester, the Research Library, Museum and Children's Education Center are housed in our historic bank building filled with thousands of artifacts, books, photographs, maps, deeds, genealogy resources and more.
