  • Mission

ITNMemphis is an affiliate of the Independent Transportation Network of America (ITNAmerica). The mission is to provide a community-based, community supported, economically viable, and consumer-oriented, quality transportation service for seniors and visually impaired adults. We support sustainable, community-based transportation initiative efforts by participating in the national transportation network grounded in research, policy analysis and education.

    About Us

ITNMemphis, a nonprofit organization that provide rides to seniors and the visually impaired, with a unique emphasis on excellent customer service, seeks to find friendly, patient volunteers who love to be around seniors. Volunteers may serve as little as 3 hours per month or more depending on the driver's schedule. Volunteers use their own cars. They can chose from a variety of reimbursement options. What sets us apart from other ride share programs is our drivers provide our members with arm-through-arm, door-to-door service from their front door to the car and from the car to their destination. If you are interested in making a difference in peoples’ lives, experience instant gratification, are friendly and patient, see parts of Memphis new to you, this is the volunteer match for you.
