    Nearly everyone has been touched by a friend, co-worker, family member or child who has been affected by heart disease or stroke. As the nation's first and third leading causes of death, these conditions can have a lasting and often devastating effect on individuals and families. The American Heart Association works to raise dollars for cardiovascular disease research and education in the Greater Toledo area. 75% of all monies raised stay in the Toledo area.
