American Red Cross (Augusta Chapter)

  • About Us

The Augusta chapter of the American Red Cross (ARC) boasts volunteer programs for adults and youth throughout the greater Augusta area. These programs employ a diverse group of individuals which, in turn, represents the ARC at volunteer opportunities held in conjunction with other local and regional non-profit organizations. Perhaps most notable is the chapter's youth board, which has been recognized on the local, regional, and national level for its members' continued volunteer service. Examples of this can further be seen in the board's long-standing relationship with the Gracewood Mental Health Center, Golden Harvest Food Bank, and the Division of Family & Children Services (DFCS), as well as its commitment to the national HEROES campaign. The Augusta ARC youth board is also praised for its informative elementary and middle school leadership development conferences, which are self-organized and self-taught on a regular basis.

In pairing with idealist.org, the Augusta chapter of the American Red Cross hopes to ensure that application for volunteer membership is as accessible as possible, extending the chapter's network of outreach while simultaneously increasing community involvement. We hope to hear from you!
