  • About Us

The Center for Human Environments (CHE) brings together a diverse interdisciplinary team of social scientists, planners, educators, designers and health experts. Our research addresses the problems faced by people in the full range of settings, from schools, prisons, hospitals and other institutions, through community groups to city level national and international agencies and organizations. CHE research is typically oriented towards finding solutions to issues of social and environmental justice which means that they are carried out in highly collaborative ways with our intended recipients and often in partnership with our funders.
