Register2Vote

Register2Vote (R2V) is a 501(c)(4) civic engagement organization that since 2018 has helped hundreds of thousands of Americans register to vote or correct their voter registration. The signature R2V program is an online form that allows any eligible voter to easily register to vote or confirm their registration. At no cost to the voter, R2V prints and mails the completed application to the voter with a stamped return envelope; all the voter has to do is sign the application and put it back in the mail. This single tactic, whereby R2V donors cover all printing and mailing costs, and a dedicated team of R2V volunteers helps process the mail, has made a tremendous impact on voter participation in Texas and across the country.

R2V also developed and manages “Map the Vote,” a free phone application that allows volunteers to identify eligible but unregistered adults in their geographic vicinity. R2V also serves as the fiscal sponsor for democracy initiatives such as Block Power, a 14-city program focused on boosting turnout in the African-American community. In addition to its 501(c)(4) form, the founders of R2V also created Register2Vote Fund, a related 501(c)(3) charitable organization. 

Beginning March 2021, R2V brought on Julie Oliver as Executive Director and Mike Siegel as Political Director, with a mandate to preserve and expand existing voter registration programs while also developing new initiatives to engage voters throughout the political process, from registration through election day.
