Founded as an alternative voice to the Religious Right, Interfaith Alliance is the only national interfaith organization dedicated to protecting the integrity of both religion and democracy in America.

WHAT WE BELIEVE

• We believe that matters of personal conscience must be held sacred, but no one has the right to impose their beliefs on others.
• We believe that religious and political extremists are a threat to individual liberty and democracy.
• We believe that religious and cultural diversity is essential to building vibrant communities.

Too often, the national dialogue around religious freedom favors the beliefs of some over the rights of all. Interfaith Alliance works to correct this false narrative, ensuring that our First Amendment freedoms are rigorously defended at the federal, state, and local level. We do so by amplifying the voices of diverse people of faith and of no faith to protect freedom of belief, challenge extremism and hate, and prevent the misuse of religion to discriminate.
