We are a startup nonprofit with a purpose of building a climate change headquarters in Los Angeles that will utilize the combined talents of California’s exceptional technology companies and the creative entertainment industry. Only California can offer this combination and the geography in which to demonstrate potential solutions in a way that will attract attention...and all from a newly built, dramatic iconic structure placed in one of the world’s most familiar locations. We call it the Hollywood Lighthouse!

The concept is based on the idea that Los Angeles having once been the poster child for environmental degradation by virtue of its smog levels and uncontrolled sprawl, and having recovered, should now lead the charge worldwide to reclaim our planet.

Currently, literally hundreds of organizations are constantly alerting the public about one disastrous threat or another. These messages arrive like birdshot, many small pellets, and should instead be hitting home with dramatic accuracy like a well aimed bullet!
