  • Mission

In everything we do, we are dedicated to the elimination of, and suffering from, HIV and AIDS.

    About Us

Since 1988, Aunt Rita’s Foundation has been a cornerstone in the fight against HIV in Arizona. What began as a grassroots effort has grown into a statewide leader in advocacy, education, and resource distribution. We helped fund some of Arizona’s first HIV service organizations and continue to ensure those impacted have access to critical care and support.

Today, we connect individuals to free HIV/STI testing, treatment, and education through programs like HIVAZ Connect, and offer direct support for youth and aging adults living with HIV. Our Partner Agency Grant Program strengthens local service organizations with vital funding. Signature events like AIDS Walk Arizona and the World AIDS Day Phoenix Vigil unite our community to raise awareness and fight stigma.

By working with local and national partners, we remain deeply committed to ending HIV in Arizona-through action, education, and the power of community.
