HIGHER HORIZONS DEVELOPMENT CORP
Mission
Higher Horizons is dedicated to empowering the community by providing the essential physical resources, education, and support required to effectively address and eliminate negative societal impacts.
About Us
Higher Horizons Development Corporation (HHDC) was established in January 2022 as a 501(c)(3) public charity to broaden the community development efforts of Macedonia Baptist Church in ways that extend beyond the scope of a religious organization. HHDC builds upon the foundation laid by its predecessor, Macedonia Initiatives in Community Development (MICD).
Founded in 2001, MICD had a narrower focus but played an active role in the community by offering programs and services primarily aimed at youth development.
With a 92-year legacy of service from Macedonia Baptist Church and 15 years of impactful programming through MICD, HHDC inherits a strong foundation to address the evolving needs of the present .
