Mission
The aim of Puppies with a purpose, Inc. is to facilitate the use of both psychiatric service dogs, as well as therapy dogs, to help with treatment of patients with psychiatric symptoms. Our organization will focus on education as well as providing assistance with training and certification of both service and therapy dogs. In addition, we will help with placement of the volunteer canine-human team in psychiatric settings to provide animal assisted therapy.
About Us
The organization's mission is to help bring awareness to the public on use of canines in treating psychiatric symptoms. The hope is to educate the public on criteria for certification of psychiatric service dogs, as well as emotional support dogs, and therapy dogs. The organization provides resources as well as step by step assitance.
