    About Us

The Southern Arizona Region of the Alzheimer's Association is located in Tucson and provides programs/services to the surrounding communities. Our programs objectives are in place to help increase awareness and knowledge of Alzheimer's disease and available resources, build usable skills to effectively manage the journey of Alzheimer's, reduce the isolation of the family care-giving experience and build social support, and lastly, to enhance the quality of life for both the person with the disease and the family caregiver. We hold an annual Southern Arizona Education Conference in the Spring; Half-day Family Caregiver Conferences throughout AZ for family members and friends of those diagnosed with Alzheimer's disease, as well as Workshops and Community Education presentation requests, available in both English and Spanish. Our fundraising events are the Annual Wine to Remember held in the spring and Walk to End Alzheimer's events in the fall.
