To empower the people of Kayunga, neighboring Districts and network organizations with knowledge to overcome the key community challenges. BUVAD sensitizes beneficiaries through regular community seminars and projects on how to improve on some of the stinging problems in their homes especially poverty and health. This involves seminars on income generating projects, environmental conservation, primary health care, appropriate technology, basic financial management, cultural behaviors and conduct in society, lead implementation of large community development projects and setting up of a Resource Centre.
To enhance community awareness towards addressing climate change issues and taking the lead in devising adaptable, innovative means that address adverse effects of climate change issues.
Uplifting the living standards of women in their different categories. Women being the mothers of the villages and the nation as a whole, BUVAD helps them uplift their living standards through seminars, project and material support whenever possible. Supporting and caring for the Orphaned Vulnerable Children to sustainably attain a befitting future, considering the orphaned children, disabled children and those subjected to abuse in different categories as beneficiaries.
To improve on the medical facilities and the social infrastructure of BUVAD operational areas. BUVAD intends to support the improvement on the health centres in the areas that provide first aid and treatment to community members. BUVAD intends to empower community towards improving on the social infrastructure of its focal areas in Kayunga District. These include; schools, power supply, housing for the aged and disabled, safe water supply and other related facilities.
