Highwater Farm

  • About Us

At Highwater Farm we’re working to bring locally and sustainably grown produce to the Colorado River and Roaring Fork valleys on the Western Slope of the Colorado Rockies.

We commit to farming in a way that protects our environment and yields nutrient-dense food. We don’t use chemical pesticides or fertilizers and work toward building healthy soils and a healthy farm ecosystem. In 2020 we established a half acre of vegetable production and farm infrastructure. In 2021 we're expanding to a full acre of production and launching our youth programs. Ten local youth and two crew leaders will have the opportunity to learn how to grow vegetables and gain a better understanding of the food system, while learning valuable job and communication skills.

We believe that everyone deserves access to fresh healthy produce, that’s why we commit to routing at least 25% of what we grow to food pantries and soup kitchens in our area. Our produce is also available through our CSA and at local farmers’ markets in order to sustain our farm and youth programs.
