    The Northern Arizona Climate Change Alliance (NAZCCA) mission is to inform and engage people from all walks of life to join a broad and diverse climate movement across Northern Arizona. NAZCCA seeks to raise awareness of the threats of climate change and activate residents to organize and work toward solutions that reduce human impact on climate. By informing, engaging and training people to fight for change, we hope to achieve a future that is sustainable for all peoples and life on Earth.

    About Us

    NAZCCA engages, educates, and empowers community members through grassroots organizing to research climate issues and implement climate solutions at the local level. We have been on the front lines of advocating and implementing climate action plans at cities in northern Arizona since we were founded in 2016. NAZCCA builds volunteer capacity into Climate Action Teams (CATs) working on topics such as climate education, vehicle electrification, bike and pedestrian safety and infrastructure, promoting better food systems, advancing the green energy of public utilities, interfaith organizing, and much more.
