KickinKitchen.TV, created by former Exectutive Producer of International Sesame Street, is a multi-media, nutrition and wellness curriculum-based program for children (ages 8-15) and their families.KickinKitchen.TV episodes and interactive website feature teenage singing star, REYNA, an African American teen, who produces her own online healthy cooking show with the help of her best friends. KickinKitchen.TV includes celebrity guest such as, Greg Jennings and Chef Daniel Boulud. Thanks to our partnership with the New York City Mayor's Office of Media and Entertainment, KickinKitchen.TV short episodes are currently airing in NYC Life (Channel 25) and in 13,000 NYC taxicabs.

Episodes include characters preparing a healthy meal, to reinforce educational nutrition themes and teach specific food preparation skills. KKTV combines a sitcom style with the how-to's of a cooking show, with high entertainment value, and a cast of relatable teens to offer a unique educational experience that is engaging and creative. KKTV's website is a safe community for kids to interact about the joys of eating well and living healthy. KKTV's website features "Nutrition Bites" – educational web pages that include videos, games, quizzes, contests, challenges and tips on healthy eating.

KidsCOOK Productions aims to reduce childhood obesity. Approximately nine million children over the age of six in the U.S. are considered obese. The rise in obesity is pervasive in both girls and boys, and across socioeconomic and ethnic groups in all 50 states. Furthermore, childhood obesity can often harm a child's self-esteem, socialization, and academic performance.

KidsCOOK Productions believes that digital media plays a critical role in educating kids in order to prevent childhood obesity. In a time when 11-14 year-olds spend an average of 12 hours per day accessing some sort of media (internet, television, cell phones, etc.) we have a unique opportunity to reach these budding digital natives where they are – online, on the go, at school and at home. Our goal is to capitalize on kids' increasing use of media by creating innovative digital content that entertains and promotes laughter and interactivity while simultaneously teaching nutrition and fitness.
