  • Mission

The bIRch House is a supportive community dedicated to healing for female adult survivors of incest and childhood sexual abuse through programs, resources, education and advocacy.

    About Us

What We Do bIRch House offers both mind/body workshops and discussion groups for adult female survivors of incest and sexual abuse. We hold discussion groups once a month on a variety of topics. It is facilitated/peer led by 2 different co-facilitators each month. Participants follow a set of pre-set guidelines for the safety of themselves and others.

We would NOT be appropriate for anyone in crisis or with serious mental health issues as we are not equipped to handle such issues and participants are expected to be able to conduct themselves appropriately in our setting. We do not do any kind of therapy and aren't therapists. We are more of a community for survivors to connect with other survivors in community who understand them in a safe space. We do ask individuals to wear masks within our space.

Participants who are interested can email info@birch-house.org and then go through a brief screening process over the phone.

We also have a wonderful library on site with a variety of books on the topic as well as a comprehensive resource list for survivors.
