    Maddie's Shelter Medicine Program is an academic program dedicated to saving homeless pets through the advancement of scientific knowledge and training of veterinarians.

    We teach veterinarians, assist shelters, and research problems in order to address the distinctive issues faced by cats and dogs in an animal shelter environment. We work hands-on and online, caring for animals in our community while empowering veterinarians around the world to do the same.
