    Our Purpose: to establish and manage a sanctuary as a permanent refuge for unwanted burros, particularly those designated as wild; to promote more understanding, appreciation, and kindness toward the humble burro; to provide care for sick, injured, convalescing, and orphaned wild and domestic animals for their complete rehabilitation and return to the proper environment that will ensure their physical and emotional nurturing; to promote respect and compassion for all animals, wild and domestic. to promote changes in attitudes and actions to address our ecological crisis.
