To build an empowered and inclusive society by championing the rights, dignity, and visibility of males and the broader LGBTQIA+ community, while fostering awareness, understanding, and harmony among all segments of the public.

The BeYou Foundation is a nonprofit organization committed to advancing the rights, dignity, and well-being of men and the LGBTQIA+ community in Belize. Through advocacy, education, empowerment, and inclusive services, the Foundation strives to build an equitable society where all individuals are respected, valued, and free from discrimination.

Our advocacy focuses on promoting and defending legal protections and inclusive policies that safeguard rights, dignity, and freedoms, while challenging discrimination and homophobia. BeYou Foundation serves as a voice for marginalized groups, engaging with policymakers, institutions, and communities to influence change.

Community empowerment is central to our mission. We provide tailored support services such as mental health counselling, sexual health education, and crisis intervention, helping to strengthen resilience and promote holistic well-being. Through education and awareness campaigns, we deliver workshops and community outreach that challenge stereotypes, enhance understanding, and foster social harmony across Belize.

We also focus on economic and social development by equipping men and LGBTQIA+ individuals with skills training, entrepreneurship support, and leadership opportunities that promote self-sufficiency and upward mobility. Our youth programs empower young men, particularly gay males, through mentorship, leadership training, and civic participation, cultivating future leaders committed to inclusion and progress.

Through research and policy engagement, we generate evidence to guide national policies and contribute to sustainable development strategies. Collaboration remains a cornerstone of our work—we partner with government agencies, healthcare providers, civil society, and international allies to expand our reach and ensure lasting impact.
