Bozeman Area Community Foundation

About Us

In our community, it takes a village to create a place where people want to put down roots and build a life. It takes a village to raise our kids. It takes a village to preserve open spaces. It takes a village to help our local arts community thrive. And on and on. But who is taking care of the village? Since 1998, The Bozeman Area Community Foundation has been caring for and strengthening our village in three ways:

1. By helping our nonprofits do their work better through grant funding and free professional development programs on nonprofit best practices;

2. By working with a diverse group of donors to create charitable funds to support the causes they care about in our village. We leverage and grow these assets through smart investment, ensuring that our impact is efficient, effective, and lasting as community needs change; and

3. By using our expertise to lead – advising, connecting, and strengthening the Gallatin Valley's village of change makers.

In our community, it takes a village to create a place where people want to put down roots and build a life. It takes a village to raise our kids. It takes a village to preserve open spaces. It takes a village to help our local arts community thrive…
