Get Inspired DFW (GID) is a summer internship program offered by Sewa International's DFW chapter which allows young adults to explore and innovate new ideas geared towards the welfare of refugee communities. Over the past 4 years GIH has provided a platform wherein young minds identify, create and implement projects which lead to social change in our community, all while working alongside a grassroots, non-profit organization.

Sewa International USA is launching a Family Services Program to assist community members seeking immediate help and expert guidance in an emergency situation. Creating an information repository, providing a helpline and building local volunteer base with expertise to advice community members in need is the immediate goals of the Family Services Program. Our objective is to provide the opportunity for young people to serve the local community and undergo personal development and leadership training through a well-structured summer internship program

Get Inspired DFW is an 8 week volunteer program which runs from June 9th to August 5th, 2013
