as the Reconstructionist Synagogue of Montreal, we are an egalitarian, participatory community of Jews who seek to promote creative Jewish life and culture in keeping with the principles of the Reconstructionist Movement within Judaism.
The raison d'être of this synagogue community is to be a welcoming and comfortable Jewish home in which any Jew can participate, regardless of background, current level of observance or Jewish knowledge.
Our congregation's name, Dorshei Emet, "Seekers of Truth", reflects our commitment to lifelong, spiritual growth.
