About Us

Jatukik Providence Foundation is a nonprofit 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to combating poverty in the Democratic Republic of Congo. JPF focuses on relief and sustainable development through community-based projects in health care, education, poverty alleviation, and conservation of the environment. JPF was formed in 1999 as an outgrowth of the work of Father Jean-Claude Atusameso, who has dedicated his life to bringing hope and opportunity to his fellow citizens of the Democratic Republic of Congo. Through partnerships with local communities, donors, and governments, JPF delivers opportunities, knowledge, and resources to empower the Congolese people to shape their futures free of poverty.

JPF's deep roots in the Congolese, United States, and international development communities generate access to a seamless pipeline of resources. These resources provide JPF with opportunities for battling poverty in the DRC. With a strong focus on long term, creative, effective and sustainable strategies, JPF has become a leader among local relief organizations. JPF works hand in hand with the Congolese people and with the confidence of both local and international leaders. With these connections JPF is uniquely positioned to launch and expand effective programs that serve needy communities in the Democratic Republic of Congo and provide for them a pathway out of poverty.

The foundation has headquarters in Washington, D.C. and Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo.
