About Us
Since 2004, The Gathering Inn has compassionately reached out to countless homeless individuals throughout Placer County aiming to welcome new beginnings and transform lives. Originally, as a winter-only shelter, 40 individuals were served each night. Today, The Gathering Inn is a multi-faceted organization with multiple locations that serves over 500 individuals and families every day throughout Placer and Sacramento County. We believe transformation happens within the context of community and healthy relationships. Guests are welcomed to The Gathering Inn and begin their journey out of homelessness. The TGI team offers acceptance, security, and encouragement.
Our family of services include emergency shelter, respite care, permanent supportive housing, case management, behavioral health, medical and dental clinics, life skills classes, and so much more.
