National Resource Hub for Police Reform
- District of Columbia
1201 Connecticut Avenue Northwest
District of Columbia
The Hub is designed to help city, police and community leaders answer the question of what should happen after the protests end. Housed within NVF, the National Police Reform Resource Hub will provide activists, city leaders and progressive police leaders with the resources and support they need to better understand and advocate for changes within their police departments. The Hub will assist activists and other leaders across the country in advocating for improvement of local police practices by providing tools to decipher data, and legislative policies; support with developing reform agendas that can gain support from local departments, city leaders and community members. The Hub will do this by addressing three primary needs in the police reform movement: act as a clearinghouse to collect and distribute the best and most up to date research and advocacy tools for policing reform in the country; connect activists across the country to facilitate shared learning; and partner with and support key local campaigns by providing policing expertise, technical assistance, strategic guidance, and capacity building tools directly or through contractors and/or national partner organizations.
