About Us
LA-Tech.org is a nonprofit coalition of Los Angeles-area tech companies and community organizations brought together to foster the LA tech ecosystem to expand economic opportunity for LA’s disconnected communities. Our members are some of LA’s most dynamic tech companies and our goal is to harness the considerable resources of LA’s tech community to have a measurable impact on economic opportunity in Los Angeles. We do this In a few ways, by:
- Convening and educating the employees of our members about important issues facing Los Angeles.
- Mobilizing the resources and volunteers of the tech community to make a measurable impact on those issues
- Providing career pathways for students in disconnected communities to a good-paying job in the tech industry
- Amplifying the voices of the students we work with to amplify the number of young people we can serve.
