About Us

The ACSNJ is a non-profit direct service agency in the State of New Jersey. Its mission is to provide direct services and education and to ensure the excellence of care and the continuity of resources for people infected with and affected by the HIV/AIDS health crisis, primarily in the four-county area of Camden, Burlington, Gloucester and Salem Counties.

The AIDS Coalition of Southern New Jersey (ACSNJ) was formed in 1988 and incorporated in 1989. It currently serves Burlington, Gloucester, Salem and Camden Counties. It has an annual budget of approximately 2.5 million dollars and is supported by the United Ways of the four counties, state and federal AIDS grants, and donations from friends of the ACSNJ. There is a staff of 50 people and a volunteer corps of over 500 people. It is a multi-service agency serving both the AIDS-infected and affected communities. It is the only agency in the region that provides such a comprehensive approach to assisting individuals and families.
