What's Next Ministry

  • About Us

What’s Next Ministry started in 2013 for a small group of young men living in the Grier Heights neighborhood. It has turned into an incredibly strong relationship ministry involving over 16 youth and many volunteers. Church, Youth group, tutoring, mentoring, counseling, job placement, Bible studies, college visits, scholarships, life skills sessions, food and shelter are all a part of the ministry. The initial assumed goal was high school graduation. However, high school graduation does not end a relationship. The new goal is to have these young men develop into leaders and mentors of the future. The ministry is closely related to Providence United Methodist Church and will remain a strong partner after the 510c3 status has been confirmed.
