Pillows for Paws

Pillows for Paws is a 501c(3) non-profit organization with the mission to bring comfort and love to NYC shelter cats, dogs, rabbits, and guinea pigs. The group does this by donating beds, toys, and treats to Animal Care Centers of NYC on a monthly basis.

When homeless animals come into a shelter, it is most likely because they have experienced abuse, neglect or abandonment. Any animal shelter is a stressful place. Pillows for Paws believes that the emotional well-being of these animals is a crucial factor in helping their overall health. 

PFP's mission is to support a positive environment for shelter animals. The group does this by providing comfort items such as cozy beds, toys to keep them active in their cages/kennels, and bringing them the yummy treats they deserve. 

When an animal feels supported and loved, they have a greater sense of ease and calm. This gives them a chance to show off their true personalities and be adopted into their forever homes.
