Labor-Religion Coalition of New York State
800 Troy-Schenectady Road
The Labor-Religion Coalition of New York State works toward the day when all New Yorkers have access to good jobs with fair pay and healthy working conditions by uniting faith, labor and community into a powerful movement for economic justice. We aim to achieve economic justice throughout New York State by: Mobilizing faith, labor, and community to take action toward economic fairness; Advocating for change in practices and policies that diminish a vibrant middle class and contribute to poverty for millions of adults and children; Building coalition and coordination amongst faith, labor and community groups and institutions for a united movement for economic justice; Linking statewide programs and campaigns with relevant local and national initiatives.
Labor-Religion Coalition of NYS campaigns address: a living wage, healthy working conditions and prevention of wage theft • anti-sweatshop purchasing policies • fair share taxation and subsidy • strong democratic process. More info at: www.labor-religion.org.
