About Us

NAMI Greater Boston Peer Support and Advocacy Network (PSAN) www.namigbcan.org is an affiliate of the National Alliance on Mental Ilness and is primarily made up of members who are in recovery from mental health and/or addiction. We have an active listserve for volunteers. We do support, education and advocacy. We feature NAMI Connection support groups, In Our Own Voice speakers, PEER to PEER educational classes and do public policy/legislative advocacy. We also help our members make new friends and frequently pay for social activities. We also help run support groups at the Hope Center www.hoperlc.org part of the Metro Boston Recovery Learning Community www.MetroBostonRLC.org

We have a networking dinner in Cambridge, see www.TwoHats.org and help people get free and reduced price tickets at concerts, theatre and more at www.OpeningDoorsToTheArts.org
