    Lunch Buddies is a mentoring program aimed at improving a youth’s social, behavioral, and academic skills by fostering positive relationships with a caring adult.

    Program Philosophy and Description The Lunch Buddies program takes an adult volunteer (ages 18 & up) to work with students providing support, friendship, and positive role modeling. Volunteers will work with a group of students during their lunch hour playing games, conversing, and participating in other recreational and scholastic activities.Goals of Program• To establish positive relationships/role models• Increase academic performance• Improve self-esteem• Increase in school pride• Decrease behavioral merits• Improve attendance
