A Global Voice for Autism is an international non-profit relief and development organization that exists to equip teachers and families in conflict-affected communities to support the development and success of children with autism and trauma-related behavioral challenges in their classrooms, home and communities.
Through teacher and family cooperative trainings,
support and self-development groups and community education programming, the
organization provides holistic support to autism and trauma-affected families
and the communities that support them.
The organization has staff and volunteers in 26
countries who contribute to the
organization’s mission through the contribution of their professional skills as
Board Certified Behavior Analysts, translators, trauma specialists, psychologists,
community advocates and behavior specialists. Volunteers contribute more than
18,000 hours per year toward A Global Voice for Autism’s mission and are a core
part of the work we carry out virtually and in conflict-affected communities
worldwide.
