About Us
Founded in 2001 as a summer camp to offer local musicians the opportunity to study and perform chamber music, Heartland Chamber Music has grown into one of the most nationally recognized pre-college music programs in the Midwest.
The Mission of Heartland Chamber Music is to connect, engage, and inspire students of all ages through a lifetime of musical education and performance.
Our String Sprouts program increases opportunity and access for children ages 4-8 in underserved zip codes to help them gain access to music education. The program provides an instrument, 32 weeks of small group lessons, as well as opportunities to perform annually all FREE of charge to families.
