  • About Us

The Foundation for Compassionate Connection, Inc. (FCCI) is a very small 501(c)3 non-profit founded in 2007 to support the innovative work of Eleanor Cyrce, called “innate play.” The Foundation’s mission is to create safe spaces where children can experience trust and support in their school community; learn healthy, appropriate touch as a viable alternative to violent, exploitative touch; and, recognize the inherent worth and preciousness of each person. These goals are achieved through Innate Play, with the intention of eventually expanding to offer programs in Non-Violent Communication (NVC) and Challenge Day. Currently FCCI is supported by donations and a small grant.
