About Us

The Anchorage Coalition to End Homelessness (ACEH) is committed to analyzing and expanding the homeless response system in Anchorage in order to make homelessness a rare, brief and one-time event.

ACEH began in 2004 as a grassroots collaboration with homeless service providers to end homelessness in Anchorage, AK. Since this time, ACEH has established 501c(3) status in 2012, becoming its own fiscal agent in July 2013. The ACEH is the only Anchorage convener of community members, businesses and providers working towards the shared goal of making homelessness rare, brief and one-time.

ACEH serves as Anchorage's Continuum of Care (CoC), which includes the operations of the Homeless Management Information System (HMIS) and oversees the Coordinated Entry system. In addition, ACEH in collaboration with community service providers developed, supports and is implementing the Anchored Home Plan, Anchorage's Strategic Plan to Solve Homelessness: 2018-2021.
