Amatsiko Organisation: Empowering Uganda's Future

In 2005, Alex Atuheire founded Amatsiko Organisation to address the devastating effects of orphanhood and vulnerability on children in Kabale District, Kigezi region. Our mission is to provide hope and education to those in need.

Amatsiko Preparatory School, established in 2014, offers free education and meals to 420 underprivileged children, with 60 residing on campus and the rest living with recognized guardians under our supervision.

We aim to combat malnutrition and promote sustainability through community and school gardens, beekeeping projects, and environmental education.

Volunteer Opportunities:

Join us in making a difference! Volunteer teaching opportunities are available in our school, regardless of your background or experience. Teach English, arts, computer skills, or assist local teachers. Your presence and skills can significantly enhance the learning experience for our students.
