Farm & Wilderness

  • About Us

In the heart of Vermont's Green Mountains, Farm & Wilderness (F&W) is a non-profit educational organization founded in 1939. F&W operates five residential summer camps, one summer day camp, and school year programs in outdoor education. We are grounded in the Quaker values of simplicity, self-reliance, community, honesty and respect for all people and the natural world. We work with children in a supportive, multicultural, and challenging wilderness environment. Programs include backpacking, canoeing, rock climbing, wilderness living, swimming, farming, carpentry, traditional crafts, and much more!
