  • About Us

The congregation is comprised of approximately 460 sisters who serve in the ministries of education, healthcare, pastoral care, the missions, social services and retreat work in 32 dioceses and archdioceses around the world, including Hawaii, Kenya, Peru and Puerto Rico. Our community was formed as a result of a new union created by the Sisters of St. Francis in Hastings-on-Hudson, Syracuse, and Williamsville, NY (2004), who were joined by the Sisters of St. Francis of Millvale, PA (2007) - all sharing common roots and history for over 140 years.
