About Us

Interfaith Refugee & Immigration Service (IRIS) provides gracious welcome and tangible tools for self-sufficiency to more than 1,000 refugee and immigrant families each year. IRIS is a program of the Episcopal Diocese of Los Angeles and the Los Angeles affiliate of three National Voluntary Agencies: Episcopal Migration Ministries, Church World Service, and Lutheran Immigration & Refugee Service. IRS has helped reunite families immigrant and refugee families from all over the world. IRIS also provides low cost immigration legal services to help reunite families and assist individuals become United States Citizens. To date, IRIS has helped more than 5,000 refugees resettle into Los Angeles and has helped hundreds of immigrants on their path to citizenship and family reunification.

IRIS Provides Immigration Legal Assistance including but not limited to: Naturalization, Adjustment of Status, Family Petitions, Travel Documents, Work Authorization, and Religious Worker Visas among others.

IRIS also offers English as a Second Language Classes and American History/Civics classes to immigrants looking to become US Citizens!
